"Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl" star Zoe Saldana returns to the action in a new thriller "Collombia" an American and French action film directed by Olivier Megaton. It was released in Europe a month earlier on July 27 but on August 26 in America, the home of Hollywood. In this film this "Star Trek" actress is working against Michael Vartan.

This 33-year-old Hispanic actress told Kit Hoover and guest co-host Arsenio Hall on Friday's Access Hollywood Live about her new movie, "I feel very privileged that because of my athletic background that I'm able to do roles that are physically demanding.""It is an empowering when a woman can play a role that is predominately males that play it. It is a genre that is very geared towards males," she added. "And when a woman can do it and get away with it, and you don't compromise the violence that a film about revenge would entail, it's just sexy and edgy and has all heart, so I'm really proud of the movie."

She also worked in the role of Neytiri in James Cameron's "Avatar", the highest-grossing film of all time. A new film named "The Words" is coming in 2013.

Fergie in Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2011: Miss Fergie. She loves a mini! So much so, they had the original below-the-knee Dolce & Gabbana dress chopped. It's A LOT of look on her. Even for Miss Fergie. I get it that she loves to be bold, brash and make "Boom Boom Pow" statements (did I just really type that??) but well...I think where I have the most problem is THOSE ROOTS!!! We know she can afford a touch-up. Or just have your assistant go to CVS and buy you some Clairol Nice 'N Easy.



Tyra Banks: OK, Miss Tyra, you are giving a "Miss Wonder Woman/Super Hero" moment in this yellow-and-black zip-front leather jumpsuit, even down to the BIG OL' gold cuff! She can knock off several TEENS with that bracelet of hers! Yes, it's all a bit of a mess, but hey, it's Miss Tyra! I do like her hair and that oh-so-innocent look on her face. She does have that SMIZE down to a science!

Cameron Diaz in a Strapless Mini Dress by A.L.C. : Soooo CUTE Cameron! Well done! Perfect little strapless mini dress. Clean, very "California Gal" hair and make-up. She looks as if she just spent 4 hours on a surfboard and well, she all of a sudden had to go to a big Red Carpet event! I especially LUV the heels:

Zoe Saldana in Lanvin Resort 2012: Looks like Zoe was trying to mimic the same pose that the model did on the right in the Lanvin Resort 2012 Look Book with this metallic strapless ruffled and pleated dress. I like that the actual dress is more of a "Baby Doll" lose shape and yet, Zoe belted it to define her INCREDIBLY teeny tiny waist. The gold stacked heels are FAB as well.



Emma Stone in Christian Dior Resort 2012: Actress Emma Stone surprised even me with this rather "directional" choice of a dress. It's not pretty by definition but more "fashion'y" and yes, me likey! The drop waist, color-blocking and shapeless tunic-1920's shape are all very BIG for next Spring so...You Go Miss Emma!

FASHION MONDAYS: Zoe Saldana at the 54th Annual San Francisco International Film Awards

Zoe Saldana in Fall 2011 Salvatore Ferragamo at the 54th Annual San Francisco International Film Awards. This dress is not actually in the Fall 2011 Ferragamo Runway Collection presented in February but must have been added to lure young actresses to wear the label since they all love a cute cocktail dress on the Red Carpet.

The collection is actually really great. It had a 1940's vibe and used menswear inspired fabrications including light houndstooth, herringbone and Glen plaid wools. The twist was they were done in very feminine and sexy silhouettes. This definitely won't be the last time we see this collection on the red carpet for sure.

Zoe's dress was a beautifully draped Glen plaid with an interesting devore velvet lace overlay that mimics a "Cheetah" print.

I also liked how she paired it with these very lady-like (a trend on the Red Carpet!) ruby red patent leather pumps. You can really never go wrong with RUBY RED PUMPS! Tres Chic!!
