The competition has started. On Tuesday, group 1 of the Miss Universe delegates, composed by 49 of them, had their interviews with the judges and afterwards, they posed for them during the 2011 Miss Universe Swimsuit Preview in their official swimwear. From this, the preliminary judges make their evaluations to come up with their finalists. For those who don’t know, the swimsuit preview, behind closed doors, has been taking place every year since 2002.
Meanwhile, the format of the pageant has been announced: Top 16 semifinalists (15 from the judges and the MUO) + the popular vote winner: 16. From then, there will be a Top 8 and then a Top 4. One of those 4 lucky ladies will become the new Miss Universe. Miss Universe L.P., LLLP
