The pageant was originally scheduled to be held at the Impact, Muang Thong Thani, Bangkok, Thailand, however the pageant organizers decided to move the pageant back to the Philippines due to the massive flooding in Thailand. Miss Earth 2010, Nicole Faria of India will crown her successor at the end of the event. The theme of this year’s Miss Earth edition will be “The Earth is crying.
