Emmy award winning platinum recording artist Bieber girlfriend Selena Gomez is apearing on the stage with a new role. she is going to host Video Music Award pre-show 'black carpet' on August 28, 2011. The show will start at 8 PM. MTV team correspondents Sway Calloway, Jim cantiello and James Montgomery and even her peers will be reported and interviewed by her. An MTV press release on Friday says Selena will,�be reporting breaking news and interviewing her peers alongside MTV News correspondents Sway, Jim Cantiello and James Montgomery.�
After her pre-show the main Award ceremony will start at 9 with Lady Gaga opening the show and it can be watched live from Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. Selena Gomez herself is very excited says,"I am very excited to be a part of the 2011 VMAs! After all of my years watching the VMAs, the pre-show has always been one of my favorite parts. It is a true honor to be hosting from the black carpet this year," If she becomes successful and can make some extra-ornary exposure she will, who knows, go for even more, purhaps Golden Globe or Academy Award red carpet.
